Arterial acquires and operates pure-play healthcare logistics businesses across the Chicago area, backed by a long-term institutional partner and advisors with real search and transition experience.
General logistics is crowded and commoditized. In healthcare, the work can't slip, and the relationships with hospitals and labs run deep. That combination is why we only look at companies where healthcare is the whole business, not a side of it.
We're focused on Chicago because it's home. Brad grew up an hour northwest of the city and his family is still here. He'd rather build something close enough to show up for than run a business he only sees on a screen.
Brad has spent nearly twenty years building and buying businesses, closing close to twenty acquisitions over his career, from $500,000 deals to multi-million-dollar transactions. His background spans finance and operations: he has run commercial and operational functions well past the finance seat, at one point overseeing a fleet of 2,200 drivers and leading commercial partnerships with companies including Siemens and American Express. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and grew up in Barrington, Illinois, where his family still lives today. Brad has also been through an exit of his own. He knows firsthand what integration requires, especially on the people side.
Talent leader, coach, and educator. Founder of the Experience Institute, Forbes 30 Under 30 in education, and a design lecturer at Stanford's School of Engineering.
We start by learning about your business and what you're looking for, whether that's a full exit, a transition over a few years, or something in between.
If it makes sense on both sides, we move into the details: how the business runs, what makes it work, and what you want your next chapter to look like.
Deal structure, timeline, and your role after close are all part of the conversation, not fixed in advance.
Brad has been through integration from both sides. The goal is continuity for your team and your customers.
Arterial is backed by a long-term institutional partner, with resources committed for the acquisition itself and for what comes after it. That means we can move at the seller's pace, not a fund's calendar, and we're not walking away six months after close.
We're building something we intend to run for a long time. We want an owner who's ready to see the next chapter through with us.
If healthcare logistics is what you've built, we'd like to hear about it.
